The HI-SCAN 10080 XCT is a state-of-the-art explosives detection system (EDS) designed for hold baggage and air cargo. Combining dual-view, dual-energy X-ray line scanning with full 3D volumetric computed tomography (CT) imaging and reconstruction, it delivers unmatched detection accuracy and throughput.
High Capacity and Efficiency
With a belt speed of 0.5 m/sec (98.5 ft/min) and a large 107 x 81 cm tunnel, the HI-SCAN 10080 XCT integrates seamlessly into automated baggage and material handling systems. This enables airports to process up to 1,800 bags per hour and air cargo handlers to screen up to 2,500 parcels per hour.

The HI-SCAN 10080 XCT is TSA certified for high-speed checked baggage screening and approved under EU/ECAC EDS Standard 3.0 and 3.1. It is also TSA ACSTL approved and qualified under the U.S. Safety Act, which provides limited liability protection for claims related to terrorism. Additional certifications include STAC and DfT approvals.
