The HI-SCAN 10080 EDX-2is is a proven Level-1 checked baggage screening solution. Operating within a multi-level security process, it automatically screens all baggage for explosives. Bags cleared at Level-1 continue directly to their destination, while rejected bags are diverted for further inspection—ensuring both efficiency and security.

Large Tunnel for Oversized Items

With a tunnel opening of 1070 mm x 810 mm, the EDX-2is can screen oversized objects up to 3.8 m in length. This eliminates the need for alternative screening methods and streamlines operations for airports and cargo facilities.

High Detection Capability, Low False Alarms

The system combines exceptional detection performance with a low false-alarm rate, enabling throughput of up to 1,800 bags per hour. Optional iCMORE software enhances detection by automatically identifying lithium batteries.
